What are the causes of the downfall of youth other than parents and individual?
The film and music industry carry some of that blame. So do the schools. It's so hard to attract good teachers now. Teaching in public school is not about teaching kids how to create, how to think, how to infer, how to solve a problem in several ways...not just one. When Apollo 13 was stuck up in space and it was very probable those astronauts would not come home at all, the director at NASA called 23 of his scientists into a room and said, " You are the brightest in this field. You truly are rocket scientists. Do not come out of this room until you have found a way to get our boys home again." And... several hours later they came out of that room and they had a plan that worked. Schools need to have that same approach. Rather than just teaching to a state test all year, students should be taught how to solve problems in a group and how to solve it many ways. Schools need to allow teachers to be creative once again, and many students wouldn't be so bored. And there needs to be some sort of regulations on the entertainment industry, but our Constitution won't allow it.

You can not lay all the blame of course on the children they are doing what they are giving permission to do. Their parents take no care in the matter. They let them run wild and make no rules or they don't enforce the rules put forth before them.Now some teens I myself being a highly graded Senior in High School, and also a freshman in College at the same resent the fact that some of the teens in my community.Discipline is what we are missing these days everywhere and the government isn't doing anything to help. Passing laws that keeps parents from disciplining their children as has been done throughout history.Things were going good until people said wait we can't beat them cause that's what are parents did to us and we don't want to be like them. this initially was a good idea until ignorant people took it way to far. I can say complete and utter beatings are horrible but a spanking isn't something to go to jail for. and you also have to think, if the dumb people stop going then the smart people don't have to deal with them and they can gain more knowledge yes? so we will have smarter people running everything right? maybe then we wont have ignorant people passing laws that end certain things yes?

Many kids play this game called Runescape. This game is heavily addicting and can lead kids straight into depression.

Runescape is ruining the youth of today. There a thousands upon thousands of sweet popular kids that got sucked into the very addicting game of Runescape. It is pretty sad when one of the top searches are a video game. Runescape has caused kids to be cramped up in there house, days on end. Runescape and many other games are slowly, but surely damaging the youth of today.
Lets talk about what happens when someone plays Runescape. Runescape a is role playing game where you create a character and work at skills to be better. You may be asking, “Whats the problem?” Well the problem is, since the basis of this game is to be the best, players often find themselves playing for multiple hours trying to improve. Well lets get our priorities straight. Your going to spend 10 hours a day getting little pixels? I mean seriously. Runescape often leads players down a path to depression. This is because they sit there and play the game for hours and hours and wonder why they have been falling on the popularity chart. There are plenty of worried adults about their kids addiction to Runescape.
I realize that not everyone that plays Runescape is addicted to it. I’m just saying a majority of people who play Runescape are addicted to it. When people think of addiction they think of cigarettes or another substance, well in today’s youth the addiction is in electronics. To all the Runescape addicts that are reading this. I suggest you quit immediately. It is leading your life in a downward spiral. Some may be asking, “well what do you know?” I know all of this because I too, was a former Runescape addict. and I have seen a massive improvement in my life since I have quit.
To all the parents that want their kids to quit, have a talk with them. Talk to them about the consequences of their actions. Parents also need to encourage outdoor activities, take your kid fishing or play basketball with them or another fun outdoor activity. I’m not writing this to insult people, I’m writing this to help the youth. Youth is the Future, and don’t you want the future to make excellent advancements?
